The Ontario Green Energy Act has a vision:
To make Ontario a global leader in clean, renewable energy and conservation, creating thousands of jobs, economic prosperity, energy security and climate protection.
Sounds fabulous, doesn't it?

After a quick read through, I was still a bit confused about how it all works (perhaps this had something to do with the screaming toddler and crying infant in the background). However, there are workshops and events being held throughout the province to explain the Act to the public.
M'Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin will be host to an event on Wednesday, February 25th from 1-4 pm. The event will be held in the Main Hall, M'Chigeeng First Nation Community Complex, 94 Hwy 551, Manitoulin Island. Who should attend? Anyone and everyone such as farmers, municipalities, First Nations, and local owners of green energy projects. Currently we are unable to fully contribute to the future of Ontario's green electricity, but an Ontario Green Energy Act could affect change in this direction.
